Leonard & the Zombies are a four-piece female-fronted, punk rock, riot grrrl band.
They hail from Totnes in South Devon. The band was formed by school friends in 2020 and comprises;
- Evie (Vocals & Guitars)
- Imala (Lead Guitar)
- Abi (Bass Guitar)
- Remy (Drums).
Influences
Inspired by some of the same musical tastes, the band all listen to a bit of everything. Their combined love for music ranges from Heavy Metal to Drum n’ Bass to more relaxed indie stuff.
The band write their own music and channel the visual aesthetic of Babes in Toyland and L7. They produce a raw, heavy and powerful sound so, if you like bands like Hole, Nirvana, Bikini Kill, Dazey & the Scouts or the Breeders, you will love Leonard & The Zombies.
