The Source Studio is a professional, spacious and comfortable recording studio with a huge live room, large control room and vocal booth. Filled with all the gear needed to record great music and located 2 floors beneath the street, artists can shut themselves away with no distractions, just immersed in the right vibes for being creative.

At the Music in Devon Initiative's The Source Studio Exeter, we offer a recording, mixing & mastering service that puts the artist in the driving seat.
We don't just record your music—we help you prepare it for release, from production advice to mixing, mastering and distribution guidance.
We offer high quality recordings through specially hand-picked equipment and a mixing & mastering process that offers up to 5 revisions. This gives plenty of opportunities for the artist to give their feedback and shape their music to their vision. Nothing is released until the client is 100% happy.

We'll guide you through every stage—from pre-production to your publishing, to finished release.
And, we'll also help you plan your release through the system we have developed with our clients, help you find gigs, get you reviews and introduce you to people in our network that can help.
And, if you dont have a band, we are all musicians and can help you record instruments you can't play.
